Finding Forgotten Inspirations.
Say those three words over a few times. Done so? Cool! That is the name for the new set of YouTube videos that I am currently making – the first to be released this weekend.
I was working on my video of Bath and a few random thoughts – new viewpoints – blundered into the emptiness of my head. These were suggestions/interpretations for my novels and stories and also thoughts about art and culture. Shock! Horror! Anyway, it dawned on me that everyone has tonnes (or tons for the non-metric) of home video and photos. In this day and age about 200 photos are taken for every event in our lives! So why not harness these for creativity’s sake.
So my new set of videos – Finding Forgotten Inspirations – will delve into my own home and travel videos and photos and examine what messages of inspiration they can bring to me now as both a writer and an artist. Maybe this will inspire others to revisit all the forgotten videos and pictures that they have collected.
Perhaps it’s a silly idea. Perhaps I will implement it in an amateurish way. But I kind of feel all creative doing such a thing – and I like the feeling. :)
Anyway, I’m half way through Bath now. Expect the finished first video in the next couple of days. :)
Thanks for reading.
