This is just a brief progress report. :) Had a great night out at a show tonight. It was called Hot Shoe Shuffle and was mostly tap dancing. One of my secret pleasures is watching dancing and this was wonderful. For any Sydney-siders out there, it was at the Bryan Brown Theatre in Bankstown and was really fast paced. Some of the dance steps were astonishing and if I reviewed the show accurately my sentences would simply be too full of superlatives. It also featured local Australian entertainer Daryl Somers who was superb. I wish I had managed to get a selfie with him! My sister-in-law Kylie posted a picture of us on Facebook: bb Kylie also told me today that someone I met a few months back asked her how she copes with an eccentric brother-in-law like me. LOL Probably sums me up well :) OK – on to progress with the model. Well, this is how far I got in Blender before feeling my comfort zone too restrictive: blendship So then I exported the model as an obj file and imported  into Photoshop CC to paint it: psship Once I had done this I started work on a background: ship3 Then I want to go back and do more painting on the ship. A lot more. Thanks for reading :) Greg

  1. You are a great magician, both with words and actions. No to mention your animation skills. Fabulous stuff.

    1. Thank you so much! :) It means a lot. I mostly just think of myself as a bit crazy. :)

  2. “Eccentric”? Why does this word make me think of old ladies who keep hundreds of cats? LOL I’d just say that fom your posts, you seem to be a fun type to be around IRL.

    1. Thank you ☺ I suspect that many of my social peers expect me to be more “dignified” and less outspoken ☺ But as you say, I like to be fun ☺
