Words are wonderful things, playing with Pari’s opening is most appropriate when we think of Roots of Splendour, sluts, pricking in the eye,and then, to finish it off, Warim’s last expedition making her too gushy.
Wow, I can’t wait for Chapter Two to find out what happened when the path continued, ‘Down There.’

Definitely curious. About: Grove Caverns, why they don’t travel below Grove Caverns, but the Magi think it’s ok. Where is Out Beyond? What is Wyrd?

I really like it that you do an ‘in-universe’ narration here, without explaining every ‘new word’.

Thankyou. That’s my intention – though it’s surprisingly difficult because part of me really wants to explain everything 🙂

You can always make something like a guidebook, like an encyclopedia specifically dedicated to explaining the cultures an’stuff. Some of the local fantasy I read comes with short versions of these included as addenda to the novels.

Yep – I was thinking something where I could really use my art. 🙂
