I wrote that because I was struggling to remember the term for alien-human hybrids 🙂 Naughty of me 🙂 Maybe I should coin the phrase 🙂

Maybe 🙂 Or maybe you could do without it? At least, confine it to the author’s bible. Too many new words (terms, names etc) in a work of fiction can make it harder to read.
