  3. Congratulations, Greg! That’s terrific. Yes, it definitely felt more personal for me the first time a piece of fiction sold. I was very happy when a piece I served as principal investigator on appeared in the prestigious Astronomical Journal, but that was nothing compared to the days-long celebration I had when I was accepted to Realms of Fantasy! I completely understand. Here’s to many more sales!


    1. Thanks, David. 🙂 It’s very exciting. I’m glad I’m not alone in that feeling. I’m also lucky that I have people like you here who inspire me. Through WordPress I have come to know so many amazing people.

      As an aside, it’s funny, I never thought that my first piece of published fiction would be horror. I mean, I like horror, but I’ve always been more of a fantasy and science fiction guy.

    1. Thanks, Dale. Slowly but surely. Nicole lost her job yesterday. Bosses came into her section and announced that the whole team was no longer needed, starting immediately. Thankfully just before that happened, I was informed that I start my new job on Monday week.
